1so是引导结果状语从句还是连接并列分句

网友不必纠结这个问题。其实，so that 和 so 没有什么根本的区别，它们都可以表示“目的” 和 “结果”。原来是什么就是什么，不要叫“省略了 that”。词性的名称就按原来的叫法：前者是从属连词；后者是并列连词。

例如，以下两组句子意思相同。原来是什么就是什么，不要把第二组说成是“省略了 that”。

He will get up early so that he can catch the first bus. （目的）

He got up early so that he caught the first bus.（结果）

He will get up early， so he can catch the first bus.（目的）
